Lose 50 Pounds in 3 Months, or fail miserably and blame the Interweb
LifeHack.org has a posting with 10 Unconventional Diet Tips: How to lose 50 pounds in three months. The list is sort of…unconventional but what is interesting is the diet and technique this guy used.
That is, he searched Google Patents and found the patent application for Weight Watchers, analyzed it and followed it for 3 months. THAT is the unconventional part.
Lastly, for the curious out there…I followed the Weight Watchers diet. I did not pay for the diet, nor did I go to meetings. I found out all the information about the diet on-line. The first place to look is at their patent.

Buy a digital scale
Weigh yourself everyday
Drink 8 glasses of water everyday
Make your diet public
Don’t diet on the weekends
Don’t sacrifice your life for your diet
