“Already one of the most crowded series of 911s in the history of Porsche, generation 997 will be further expanded in the summer of 2006 with perhaps the ultimate example of the vehicle — the 911 Turbo S Coupe. With a more dynamic look than most of its kin, thanks to a wider body, a distinct front bumper with pronounced air ducts, and standard 19-inch wheels, the 2007 911 Turbo S will raise the performance bar via its retuned 3.6-liter six-cylinder, which could produce as much as 500 hp. This engine will once again be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Despite the gain in weight resulting from engine tweaks, aerodynamic capabilities will be assured, thanks in no small part to an updated rear spoiler. Keep an eye out for the 2007 911 Turbo S at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show in March.”

400 hp, 500 hp whatever, it’s fast.
